I am a Portland, Oregon based photographer specializing in portraiture. I am a software engineer by day, photographer whenever else possible. I have a love hate relationship with it, I try to analyze the light in any environment I walk in, and I can’t seem to turn it off. Hand me any camera and I’ll figure out a way to make awesome pictures with it. My latest obsession: Hasselblad 503cx medium format manual film camera.

I do photography because I love to capture the beauty of people, the moment, and make a little history.  Years down the road when we all get older, I want to be glad that those moments were captured looking our absolute best. You only have senior pictures taken once. You only get engaged/married to your significant other once. I treasure all the photos taken up until now: seeing my parents young, my friends as we grew up together, all the good times in my life. That is history to me.

Live life, but look back once in a while and enjoy the memories!
