It’s a beautiful day at Sauvie Island, and it’s the second coming of Summer (this is the coldest summer in Oregon in 17 years). Jenny is a senior at Reynolds High School and is looking cute and sassy! She claims she’s not a huge Twilight fan, but later admitted she’s Team Jacob. Don’t worry, I am too, but your secret is no longer safe with me.
Lastly, thanks to my assistant/second shooter Steve for taking this “in action” shot of me.
I had the honor to take Kalmon’s first baby pictures! He’s such a gentle sweet little guy. I know this because his parents are both very sweet, there’s no chance of him escaping the sweet gene! He has stunning blue eyes, but I have a feeling he wasn’t too happy with paparazzi (me) around yet. Maybe when he’s older and gets more accustomed to seeing my unfamiliar face! Heck, I don’t even like looking at myself, can’t blame him!
My good photographer friends and I went to the Ace Hotel in Portland, Oregon today to practice shoot portraits for Michelle and John’s wedding in two weeks. None of us are comfortable on the other side of the lens, so the expressions can be a little.. uncomfortable 
I’d say it was a good practice run. Out of 12 frames at the Ace Hotel I had 5 keepers, which is not bad!
